1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy describes prohibited uses of the EuroRadios platform, focusing on technical and platform abuse. It supplements the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

2. Prohibited Technical Usage

You must not:

Scraping and Data Harvesting

• Scrape, harvest, or extract station data, listings, or content from EuroRadios without authorization.
• Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to collect data from the platform beyond normal browsing.
• Redistribute scraped EuroRadios data without permission.

Excessive Automated Requests

• Send excessive automated requests to the platform, including API calls, that strain server resources.
• Use bots to simulate user activity (listening, favouriting, claiming).
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or similar disruptive activities.

API Abuse

• Misuse or reverse-engineer the EuroRadios API or internal endpoints.
• Bypass rate limits or access controls.
• Share or sell API access without authorization.

Reverse Engineering

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the EuroRadios platform, its software, or its components, where prohibited by law.
• Attempt to discover source code, internal architecture, or trade secrets.

Bypassing Authentication

• Circumvent authentication mechanisms.
• Share, sell, or transfer account credentials.
• Use another user's account without authorization.
• Attempt to brute-force or crack passwords.

Security Attacks

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to EuroRadios systems, data, or other users' accounts.
• Exploit vulnerabilities, bugs, or misconfigurations.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other malicious code.
• Conduct SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), or other injection attacks.

Malware and Malicious Content

• Upload, link to, or distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious software.
• Embed malicious code in station profiles, descriptions, or user-submitted content.

Spam

• Use the platform to send unsolicited messages, emails, or communications.
• Post spam in contact forms, live chat, or station descriptions.
• Use automated systems to generate spam.

Credential Abuse

• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or rate limits.
• Use disposable or fraudulent email addresses to create accounts.
• Share credentials with unauthorized parties.

Circumvention of Access Controls

• Attempt to bypass ownership verification, station claim processes, or admin controls.
• Use proxies, VPNs, or other tools to circumvent geographic or access restrictions in a manner that violates these terms.
• Attempt to access admin-only features or pages without authorization.

Manipulation of Advertising Systems

• Click on your own ads or use automated means to generate ad impressions or clicks.
• Attempt to manipulate ad frequency capping.
• Use ad-blocking technology to circumvent advertising while using free-tier features (Premium listeners are ad-free by design).
• Submit fraudulent ad impression or click data.

Manipulation of Analytics and Statistics

• Attempt to inflate or manipulate listener counts, rankings, or statistics.
• Use bots or coordinated activity to manipulate station popularity, trending, or top radio rankings.
• Falsify telemetry or analytics data.

Attempts to Disrupt the Service

• Attempt to overload, crash, or disrupt the EuroRadios platform or its services.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of radio station streams embedded on EuroRadios.
• Attack or disrupt third-party services used by EuroRadios.

3. Station Owner Obligations

Station owners must not:

• Embed malicious code or tracking pixels in station content.
• Use station profiles to distribute spam or malicious content.
• Attempt to manipulate their own or other stations' rankings or statistics.
• Submit false or misleading station information.

4. Consequences

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:

• Immediate suspension or termination of your account.
• Removal of station listings or content.
• Revocation of station management access.
• Cancellation of Premium subscriptions without refund.
• IP address blocking.
• Legal action where applicable.
• Reporting to relevant authorities for illegal activity.

5. Authorized Security Research

EuroRadios welcomes good-faith security research. If you are conducting authorized security research:

• Do not access, modify, or delete data belonging to other users.
• Do not disrupt service availability.
• Report vulnerabilities responsibly through the Contact page (Technical category).
• Provide reasonable time for remediation before public disclosure.

EuroRadios may recognize responsible disclosure at its discretion.
