Community Guidelines

1. Purpose
These Community Guidelines apply to all users of EuroRadios, including listeners, radio station owners, broadcasters, and anyone interacting with the platform. They cover live chat, station pages, user accounts, contact forms, claim submissions, and any user-generated content or interactions.
2. Expected Behaviour
- Be respectful and constructive in all interactions.
- Respect the rights, privacy, and dignity of others.
- Provide accurate and truthful information.
- Respect copyright and other intellectual property rights.
- Follow these guidelines and the Terms of Use.
3. Prohibited Behaviour
The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:
Fake Station Claims
- Submitting a station claim for a station you are not authorized to represent.
- Providing false or misleading proof of ownership.
- Attempting to gain management access through deception.
Impersonation
- Impersonating another person, organisation, or radio station.
- Creating accounts using false identity information.
- Misrepresenting your affiliation with a radio station.
Spam
- Posting irrelevant, repetitive, or unsolicited content.
- Using the platform for unsolicited advertising or promotion (outside authorised advertising channels).
- Sending repeated or unwanted messages.
Harassment and Abuse
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any user.
- Threats of violence or harm.
- Stalking or unwanted attention.
Hate Speech and Discrimination
- Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Discrimination or incitement to discriminate.
Misleading Information
- Knowingly posting false or misleading information.
- Spreading disinformation about stations, broadcasters, or the platform.
Malicious Content
- Posting malicious links, malware, or harmful code.
- Attempting to phish or steal credentials.
Illegal Content
- Posting or linking to illegal content of any kind.
Manipulation of Rankings and Statistics
- Attempting to artificially inflate listener counts, rankings, or statistics.
- Using bots or automated systems to manipulate station data.
- Coordinating with others to manipulate rankings.
Fraudulent Activity
- Engaging in any form of fraud, including payment fraud or subscription fraud.
- Misusing the Premium subscription system.
Abuse of the Claim System
- Filing false or retaliatory claims.
- Abusing the claim/ownership verification process.
- Filing claims to harass or harm other stations.
Attempts to Damage Other Stations
- Attempting to disrupt, damage, or interfere with another station's listing, stream, or reputation.
- Filing false reports against competitors.
- Engaging in unfair competitive practices.
4. Radio Station Owner Responsibilities
Station owners and authorised managers are responsible for:
- The accuracy and appropriateness of content on their station profiles.
- Ensuring their station content does not violate these guidelines or applicable law.
- Moderating any interactive features (e.g., live chat) associated with their station.
- Responding to legitimate complaints or takedown requests.
5. Moderation and Enforcement
EuroRadios may take the following actions when these guidelines are violated:
- Remove or disable access to violating content.
- Issue warnings to the user or station owner.
- Restrict or disable interactive features (e.g., live chat).
- Suspend or terminate accounts.
- Revoke station management access.
- Cancel Premium subscriptions without refund where permitted.
- Report illegal activity to relevant authorities.
Enforcement decisions are at EuroRadios' discretion and may consider the severity, frequency, and context of violations.
6. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of these Community Guidelines, use the Contact page (Report a Problem category). Please provide:
- A description of the violation.
- The location of the violating content (URL or station name).
- Any relevant evidence.
7. Appeals
If your account or station has been restricted, you may submit an appeal through the Contact page. Appeals are reviewed by EuroRadios and decisions are communicated via email.
8. Changes
EuroRadios may update these Community Guidelines. Material changes will be reflected by a new version number and updated date.
